Jean-Baptiste,

Si vous n’êtes toujours pas boire de vin, ce qui est votre boisson préférée?

Probably water.

I tend to prefer non-fizzy, but can enjoy fizzy with happiness.
Amongst non-fizzy, I tend to like quite a good number of local tap water and dislike some (because of chemical or too much of muddy taste).

Amongst bottled water, I guess that my « ordinary N°1 » is probably Evian. In Brittany there are low cost bottled plain ordinary waters which I quite dislike. Cristalline, for example …
The good temperature for water is probably close to white wine or champagne ones (8°C to 10°C ?).

Along with a number of fizzy waters, my « second bests » include Cacolac, Coca Cola, beer, Pastis, … and from time to time, a little glass of Bourgogne … I often have a taste of the wine (in Claire’s glass) during dinner or with cheese and appreciate my little sip of it …
The context for those « second bests » is quite important, for example, I would not drink a Cacolac with a Petit salé aux lentille or a ChoucrouteUn demiwould be more appropriate.
Cacolac would not be appropriate for the apéro either. It’s more of a 4PM thing… I sometimes go for a Pastis. Usually on sunny days in Menerbes or Keremma. Rarely in Paris.
For the apéro, Coca is always welcome. Preferably the good old red one, but light and zero are OK too – no Pepsi. Or a glass of fresh tap water.

Love,
JB
